Richard Texier est un peintre et sculpteur français né en 1955, vivant et travaillant à Paris. Depuis plusieurs décennies, son œuvre s’inscrit dans une exploration sensible et intuitive des forces qui structurent le vivant et relient l’être humain à son environnement naturel et cosmique. Nourrie par une observation attentive du végétal, de l’animal, du minéral et des phénomènes organiques, sa pratique interroge la circulation de l’énergie, la métamorphose des formes et la dimension invisible du monde/

Richard Texier is a French painter and sculptor born in 1955, living and working in Paris. For several decades, his work has developed as a sensitive and intuitive exploration of the forces that shape life and connect human beings to their natural and cosmic environment. Informed by close observation of vegetal, animal, mineral, and organic phenomena, his practice investigates the circulation of energy, the transformation of forms, and the invisible dimensions of the world.
Painting constitutes a privileged field of experimentation for Texier, where material, gesture, and color contribute to the emergence of worlds that are both dreamlike and archaic. Sculpture extends this research through figures that are often hybrid or mythological, embodying an organic and instinctive vision of reality.
