Ron Arad est un designer israélien né en 1951 à Tel Aviv et connu depuis les années 1980.

Ron Arad se forme à l’Architectural Association School of Architecture de Londres, où il côtoie Bernard Tschumi, qui y enseigne, ainsi que Zaha Hadid, alors étudiante comme lui.
 
Depuis les années 1980, Ron Arad développe une approche singulière du design, caractérisée par l’expérimentation formelle, l’usage de matériaux industriels et une forte dimension sculpturale. Son œuvre, à la croisée de l’art et du design, reflète une recherche constante d’innovation et d’indépendance créative.
 


 
Ron Arad is an Israeli designer born in 1951 in Tel Aviv and has been well known since the 1980s. 
 
He studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London where Bernard Tschumi was his teacher and Zaha Hadid his colleague. 
 
Since the 1980s, Ron Arad has developed a distinctive approach to design, marked by formal experimentation, the use of industrial materials, and a strong sculptural dimension. His work, at the intersection of art and design, reflects a continuous pursuit of innovation and creative independence.
