Glace à l'Italienne - Group show: Ketabi Bourdet - 22, passage Dauphine, 75006 Paris

Bringing together 14 artists and designers, some represented by the gallery and others invited or represented through secondary-market works, the exhibition aims to be a window onto summer and the holiday season. With colours evoking sunsets, sparkling seas, and bright, tangy ice creams, the works resonate with one another, creating a joyful end-of-season atmosphere.

Inès Longevial, who is currently the subject of a solo exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Agen, presents a self-portrait in the pink tones of the end-of-day light, varnished and glossy, evoking sticky sugar-covered fingers.

Pauline d’Andigné will present a selection of new paintings ahead of her solo exhibition at the gallery next November, as will Richard Texier, who will be represented through his series of oils on nautical charts ahead of his 2023 exhibition at the gallery, dedicated to his work from the 1980s. Other artists will also be featured, including On Kawara, through a postcard sent from the North Atlantic, and Brice Guilbert, with a reproduction of the Piton de la Fournaise.

The exhibition will also feature contemporary design, including two “totem” floor lamps by Tim Leclabart in neon and resin, and a lamp by Maxime-Louis Courcier in dichroic glass.

Gallery artists such as Audrey Guttman, Idir Davaine, and Julien Saudubray will also be represented with works created especially for the occasion.

The exhibition’s colourful and vibrant universe will be on view at Galerie Ketabi Bourdet from 30 June to 22 July 2022.
